Transit Garage & Admin Office Addition
Kiwi-Newton was entrusted with building an addition to the existing bus storage facility and administration office. The project site was occupied by the bus transit authority and remained operational during the construction phase. An 18,400sf garage space to store 29 buses, a 2,100sf office addition comprised of precast panels and structural steel, with an exhaust system and overhead doors with a smart logic system were also constructed. The office addition was comprised of a poured foundation, masonry veneer and drywall partitions. All was completed without disruption to the occupied premises. |
